The Dillinger Escape Plan Reveal Final Show Details
The Dillinger Escape Plan are in the home stretch of their career. The band, who announced that their current album and touring will be their last, now have an end date to wrap it all up. The band will say their farewell near the end of December.
The final show will take place Dec. 29 at New York's Terminal 5 in what should be a memorable night. Code Orange and Daughters will be the appetizer for the night's main course, the final performance of one of rock and metal's greatest live acts, The Dillinger Escape Plan.
The group are known for their energetic, chaotic and often unpredictable live shows, with the phrase "leaving it all on the stage" often being uttered about their performances. And with the band playing Terminal 5, those lucky enough to pack in and catch this final gig should be in for something special.
"For me, in terms of shows, New York has always been one city on a short list of them, where every Dillinger show felt like a homecoming. Maybe it's the proximity to New Jersey, maybe because we're all east coast natives, maybe for me it's largely because it was the location of my first show with the band back in 2001, and maybe a lot of it is just the overall energy of the city itself,” explains frontman Greg Puciato. “So many incredible shows, unforgettable memories on and offstage, and familiar faces both backstage and in the crowd. Add to that the fact that geographically its the one city that makes the most sense for anyone traveling from the east or west, or up the coast, and this was kind of a no brainer from the beginning."
