The Ghost Inside are in the process of being treated for their various injuries sustained in their bus crash last week, but bassist Jim Riley has checked in with an update on the band.

The group was involved in a serious bus crash last week in which the driver of their bus and the driver of a semi-truck were both killed in the collision. In addition, multiple members of the band were airlifted to a nearby hospital to be treated for their injuries. Meanwhile, other crew members were also treated as well.

Riley stated in a Facebook update on Sunday:

Hey all. Jim here offering a quick update. The last 48 hours have seen everyone’s condition improve. We are surrounded by lots of loved ones and the vibe today is very positive. Asking again that you keep sending good juju our way and keep the families of the two drivers that lost their lives in your thoughts.
It will be a few more days before we share any individual details. If you’ve seen any of the pictures that are floating around you know the serious nature of the situation and hope you understand the need for a little privacy and discretion.
The doctors here are phenomenal and we are in the most capable of hands. Thank you thank you thank you for the love and support. Life is swinging hard. We are swinging harder.

A GoFundMe campaign has been started to help with the band's medical bills and any expenses accrued for funerals. The group sought to raise $125,000 and as of Monday morning, they had just exceeded the total. Stay tuned for updates on the band. If you wish to donate, you may do so here.
