Video shoots can be taxing, with long hours spent trying to capture something artistic and interesting. But, if you play it right, it can also be a lot of fun, and for Chilean rockers The ReAktion, they had a great time filming their new clip for "Sweetest Friends." The song features on the band's newly released album Similitude and the video is premiering exclusively here at Loudwire in the player above.

As you can see, the guys seem to be having a blast, performing on a snow-capped, picturesque mountainside in Chile. Singer Simon Rojan tells us, "We just were on tour in the south of Chile and one of the off days, we went to a crazy place called Antillanca, which is an amazing location in the Andes Mountains and around 3,000 feet over the ocean. A couple of shows were there in the snow, so one day we were just like, 'Hey why don't we bring a bottle of whisky and get to the hill and make a video for 'Sweetest Friends?'' So we came with that idea when we started the tour and found that moment and the video is something you can do with your 'Sweetest Friends,' like a good moment with good people."

The song itself is a full-on rocker, with Rojas and bassist Esteban Domic delivering a high energy wall of sound, backed by a steady beat from drummer Virgo Domic that cuts through. Rojas' vocals have an atmospheric quality to them, giving a sonic touch to the overall sound of the track.

The ReAktion worked on Similitude over the past year in their homeland of Chile. With the album just dropping in late October, the band is currently in the process of mapping out their 2018 touring. You can stay up to date with the band via their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts and pick up the new album through Amazon, iTunes and GooglePlay.
