Simply put, this is the kind of banger guaranteed to get your feet a tapping and your head banging. It's got a driving drum beat and a guitar solo that really pulls in the listeners. So take a listen in the player above.

Singer Dylan Villain tells Loudwire, "'Best in the West' is a song I wrote a really long time ago so it was really cool to re-work this one and watch it all come together all over again. We’re from a place where there really isn’t a lot of rock ’n’ roll bands like us. To be honest, I don’t think there are any bands like us -- period. But nevertheless, we’re the Best in the West."

The song is features on The Wild!'s new studio album, Wild at Heart, which will arrive Feb. 17 via eOne. Villain says, "This record is a big one for me. All of us, man. I really had to go through some shit to get things right on this one. I can honestly sit here today and tell you that we made the best record we possibly could. I'm proud as hell of it and I can't wait for all of you to hear it. It's everything I wanted it to be."

The band worked on the album with producer Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Airbourne, Aerosmith) at Armoury Studios in Vancouver. Along with Villain, who also takes on lead guitar, the rest of the band includes bassist/vocalist Boozus, drummer Reese Lightning and "The Kid" on rhythm guitar and backing vocals. If you like what you hear, be sure to pick up The Wild!'s Wild at Heart. You can pre-order the disc here.
