Trapt are getting closer to releasing a new album and they're giving fans a late year treat with another song off their forthcoming DNA album. The track is called "It's Over" and the band is teaming with Loudwire to exclusively bring you the new video for the song.

In the clip, a distraught Chris Taylor Brown is seen peering out a window while singing the song. Meanwhile, a silhouetted couple appear to be going through a pretty significant breakup. The band shot the clip in downtown Los Angeles with director Vicente Cordero and Industrialism Films.

Brown tells Loudwire, "'It's Over' is about respecting yourself and realizing that you are worth more than the person you are with is acknowledging. Sometimes you have to close one door to open another and this song embodies the frustration and the pain involved in a relationship that does not go both ways. When you respect yourself enough to walk away from a relationship with no respect, you will find someone who accepts you for you who are and gives you back everything you give to them. So cut that chord and close that door for yourself first and foremost."

As stated, "It's Over" is expected to appear on the band's DNA album, which is now expected to arrive in spring 2016 via Crash Collide. In the interim, you can purchase "It's Over" via iTunes.

In other Trapt news, the band has some very special shows on the horizon. The group is playing four shows for the Toys for Tots charity. The dates are Dec. 4 in Little Rock, Ark. at the Revolution Room with 100.3 The Edge sponsoring the show, Dec. 5 in Springfield, Mo. at the Outland Ballroom with Q102, Dec. 12 at the Machine Shop in Flint, Mich. with Banana 101.5 and Dec. 17 in Syracuse, N.Y. at Lost Horizon with 95X.

"One of the most powerful aspects of being in a band and being able to create music is the ability to change lives and we wanted to do something different this holiday season and help put a big smile on as many youngsters' faces as we could this Christmas. Partnering up with our friends in rock radio and Toys for Tots was the way we could do it," says Brown.
