During the past two weeks, new photos have been sporadically released of Kurt Cobain's death scene. None of the 16 total pictures released have featured shots of Cobain's body, until now. Another two photos have been unveiled, and just to warn you, although they are not graphic in nature, they may be seen as disturbing. They are posted below.

On March 20, a photo was unveiled by Seattle Police depicting the Nirvana frontman's heroin kit at the scene of his apparent suicide. The next week, on March 28, nine new pictures were revealed, showing other areas of the scene along with artifacts such as Cobain's wallet and suicide note. Six additional photos saw the light of day on March 29, which featured various shots of investigators at Kurt Cobain's home.

As promised by Seattle Detective Mike Ciesynski, no photos of Cobain's body were unveiled. “What are people going to gain from seeing pictures of Kurt Cobain laying on the ground with his hair blown back, with blood coming out of his nose and trauma to his eyes from a penetrating shotgun wound?" Ciesynski asks KIRO 7. "How’s that going to benefit anybody?"

These two new photographs may not show the Nirvana frontman's face, but Seattle police are getting extremely close. One picture portrays Cobain's left foot next to a box of shotgun shells in a paper bag, while the other shows the frontman's lifeless arm and left side. A medical tag can be seen on Kurt's left arm, while the musician's famous tattoo of the K Records logo is also in clear view.
