Strange and disturbing news to report from Hebron, Md. Two juggalos have been arrested for attempted murder and assault after reportedly deciding that their housemate, a fellow Insane Clown Posse fan, had disrespected the Detroit rap duo.

According to DelmarvaNow, Paul Martin Hurst, 33, and Cary Lee Edwards, 35, brutally attacked housemate Zachary Swanson, 31, leaving Swanson with fractures to the nasal area and face, 11 broken ribs, a lacerated liver and bleeding in his brain. Additionally, the two alleged attackers also tried to carve an Insane Clown Posse tattoo off of Swanson's arm, also setting the arm on fire.

The charging documents in the case state that the burning was "an attempt to remove a tattoo that Edwards did not believe that Swanson earned." Sadly, due to the violent attack, Swanson's arm had to be amputated below the elbow.

This doesn't help the reputation of Juggalos. Back in 2011, the FBI classified them as a "loosely organized hybrid gang" after acts of violence, criminal activity and "gang-like behavior" escalated. ICP filed suit against the FBI over the gang classification, but the duo's attempt was denied back in July.

We'd like to send Zachary Swanson our best wishes and hopes for a healthy recovery.
