Polish death metal merchants Vader released The Empire, their 11th studio album last year. They'll be on the road in 2017 supporting the record, embarking on a three week headlining run across North America, bringing Internal Bleeding, Sacrifical Slaughter, Voices of Ruin and Micawber with them.

The tour, dubbed "Strike of the Empire," will launch from Baltimore, Md. on May 26, where Vader will hit the stage as part of the esteemed Maryland Death Fest. Following this, the rest of the bands will team up with Vader in Spartanburg, S.C., with the tour working its way gradually to the West Coast, circling back eastward, closing out the U.S. portion in New York City on June 26. The rest of the lineup will drop off from here as Vader head to San Juan, Puerto Rico the next day before returning home. See the full list of dates below.

"Vadermaniax!!!! Good news right after 2017 began: Vader strikes back to the U.S.A. again! We’re gonna visit 23 places across the continent starting with famous Maryland Deathfest in May 26th, where we’ll play a very special set. Dates and details are coming soon. We all can’t wait to see you again," exclaimed Vader vocalist / guitarist Piotr Wiwczarek.

The Empire was another exercise in Vader's precision, unmistakable riffing style that is known as spurring like-minded acts in their native Poland. While the band's sound is typically comparable to artillery fire, the vets mixed things up with the thrash-leaning "Angels of Steel," which can be heard here.
