Recorded in 2001, Iron Maiden's live 'Rock in Rio' album is a cornerstone of the band's career, along with one of the best live records in metal history. The disc, which featured the band newly reunited with vocalist Bruce Dickinson and guitarist Adrian Smith, is a perfect way to relive the importance of the duo's return to Iron Maiden, pinpointing an early stage of Maiden's iconic comeback.

Now, 12 years after that release, Maiden returned to the Rock in Rio festival for another memorable performance. After traveling the world with their 'Maiden England' tour, including various South American dates, Maiden finally hit Rio de Janeiro last night. Iron Maiden gifted the crowd with a phenomenal setlist, based heavily on material from the band's 'Seventh Son of a Seventh Son' album along with other classic releases.
