Life on the road can be difficult, especially for new bands trying to make it in a music industry that's not exactly overflowing with income opportunities. Unfortunately, We as Human have found this out the hard way and are taking steps to continue touring by planning to purchase a new van. However, they could use your help.

The group has turned to Kickstarter to launch a campaign helping them offset the cost of a new van. In the hilarious video shown above, the band members show their current, less-than-ideal mode of transportation and explain the necessity of a new touring vehicle. They also break out some seriously awesome graphs to show why a bus is not as much of an option as you'd think.

As with most Kickstarter campaigns, We as Human have provided a bunch of incentives to get people to fund their van depending on the donation. The most expensive package, dubbed "The Diary of Van Frank," provides you with one item of every piece of merchandise sold at shows and the chance to hang out with the band for a day in Nashville, where you'll eat barbecue, roast marshmallows around a bonfire, hear the band's new songs or possibly play a board game of your choice. There are other items on the block as well, including a private acoustic show at your house, guest list access, tour props and more.

You can check out the full list of items at the band's Kickstarter page. As of this post, We as Human have already raised over $11,000 of the $19,999 goal to get their new van, with the campaign ending on Sept. 5. Help We as Human upgrade their touring vehicle so they can come rock your town. Visit the Kickstarter campaign here.
