Winds of Plague singer Johnny Plague knows a thing or two about the dark side, making him the perfect designer of the new Hollywood Sports Park's Haunted Hollywood Sports attraction for Halloween.

Plague was given 23 acres to work with. The park will consist of four themed mazes, two Killhouses, a full bar called Club Crimson, and three scare zones as well as a number of additional activities. Plague and his "monster squad" hand-crafted a majority of the props, masks and costumes being used for the month-long attraction.

Plague says, "After eight years of working in the Haunt industry, I have assembled what I call the Monster Squad. This is a team made up talented individuals who all share a common passion for all things horror. The Monster Squad and I have taken over Hollywood Sports Park in Bellflower, Calif., and have been hard at work transforming it into Haunted Hollywood Sports. I've experienced many haunted attractions around the world and can honestly say this will be a one of a kind experience you will never forget."

There are four mazes in total. 'The Abduction' brings you to the year 2146 during space colonization where a virus outbreak sends you on a trip through hostile terrain to escape the disease.

The second maze, called 'All American Armageddon,' takes you into the near future where survival is part of the everyday existence, but unfortunately your safe haven has been uncovered leading to potentially the end of life as you know it.

In the 'Cannibal Caverns' maze, a search and rescue mission team has disappeared and you join with a group of volunteers trying to uncover what happened while attempting to survive the lurking unknown terror in the dark.

And finally, the 'City of Angels' maze brings to life the urban myths, bedtime stories, biblical scriptures and mysterious prophecies that haunt our nightmare as you attempt to survive the battle between good and evil.

The Hollywood Haunted Sport park debuts Sept. 28 and 29, with the weekends of Oct. 5-7, 12-14, 19-21, 25-28, and Oct. 31 also open to the public. For more info, visit www.hauntedhollywoodsports.com.
