Thanks to everyone for voting in Loudwire's End of Summer Survey. We asked the Loudwire readers to choose their favorite songs, albums, videos and tours of the summer, along with a few other topics. With the polls having just closed, we've got the final results for each category.

Lamb of God won both the Best Metal Song and Best Metal Video of the Summer with the track 'Desolation.' The WTF Moment of the Summer also went to Randy Blythe and his controversial month-long imprisonment in the Czech Republic.

Best Metal Album of the Summer went to Testament's 'Dark Roots of Earth,' and Best Metal Tour/Festival of the Summer went to the 2012 Mayhem Festival.

In the rock world, Best Rock Song of the Summer went to Motley Crue's 'Sex,' while Best Rock Album was captured by Hellyeah's 'Band of Brothers.' Five Finger Death Punch won Best Rock Video with 'Coming Down' and Best Rock Tour/Festival went to Metallica's Orion Festival.

Finally, Guns N' Roses vocalist Axl Rose was named Most Controversial Musician of the Summer.
