X Japan can once again claim they have the most devoted fans in the rock and metal world. In a poll consisting of 10 of the planet's most popular bands, X Japan still pulled away with 58 percent of the vote, gathering more ballots than all the other nominees put together.

X Japan's popularity is truly stunning. The visual key pioneers racked up more votes than Avenged Sevenfold, Black Veil Brides, Five Finger Death Punch, Godsmack, Judas Priest, Linkin Park, Nickelback, the Pretty Reckless and Slipknot combined.

For the 2012 edition of the Loudwire Music Awards, X Japan won our Most Devoted Fans poll. Last year, Black Veil Brides fans took the crown, and once again accumulated a huge number of votes this year, but there was just no stopping X Japan in 2014.

X Japan fulfilled a career-long dream in 2014, performing at the iconic Madison Square Garden. They also brought the masses to Tokyo's Station Square and the Yokohama Arena. X Japan frontman Yoshiki also took 2014 to embark on a solo classical music tour. Yoshiki performed his own classical pieces along with iconic music from famous composers such as Tchaikovsky.

Congrats to X Japan and their legions of fans for winning the Most Devoted Fans poll in the 4th Annual Loudwire Music Awards!
