Zakk Wylde Talks Sober Living, Remembers Slayer Guitarist Jeff Hanneman – Exclusive Video

Iconic guitarist Zakk Wylde stopped by the Loudwire studio for a lovely chat not too long ago. We'll be posting our full interview with the Black Label Society / Ozzy Osbourne shredder soon, but in this portion of Wylde's visit, Brother Zakk went in-depth about his newly sober lifestyle and late Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman.

During the 2013 Revolver Golden Gods Awards, Slayer's Kerry King toasted Hanneman with a shot of booze, but Wylde politely declined. However, Wylde's isn't too thrilled about his current sobriety. Find out why in our interview with the man. Zakk also shared his thoughts on Slayer legend and elite guitar player Jeff Hanneman, who Wylde referred to as "sweet" before stating that 49 years old is far too young for anyone to pass away.
