Why didn't MTV show this place on 'Cribs'??? Maynard James Keenan's zen palace looks way more interesting than any rapper's pad. The psychedelic kaleidoscope of a home was on the market earlier this year for $2.795 million, but it was just sold for $2.37 million.

The Mediterranean-style home was built in 2001, and seeing as it's located in Los Angeles, Maynard Keenan may actually be glad L.A. didn't actually sink into the Pacific Ocean ala 'Ænema.' The crib boasts elaborate wooden ceilings, a bar, a den and a wine-tasting room. The place also features two fireplaces, four bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms in its 3,750 square feet of living space.

A separate guesthouse on the property can also be used as a recording studio. The 11,000 square feet of land also features a swimming pool, waterfalls and canyon, mountain and city views.

So for those looking to spiral out to Maynard's L.A. home, you're out of luck, as another buyer has grabbed the Tool / A Perfect Circle / Puscifer musician's place. See more pictures of Maynard's old home here.
