The roll out is in full effect, as Alter Bridge are making sure that listeners have a good idea of what they're going to get when The Last Hero album arrives on Oct. 7. The band just unveiled yet another new song with "The Other Side" getting the preview treatment.

The track begins as a chugging rocker, but slips into something a little more haunting and hypnotic in the verses as Myles Kennedy scales back his power vocals a bit. But once the chorus kicks in, the singer is back in full voice singing about the pitfalls of being narrow-minded and feeling yours is the only way. "You deserve the hell you're gonna pay on the other side," sings Kennedy, enforcing the song's warning.

"The Other Side" follows previous Alter Bridge releases -- "Show Me a Leader," "My Champion" and "Poison in Your Veins" -- off The Last Hero album. The disc is currently available to pre-order in a variety of physical bundle options at the band's webstore or via the digital provider of your choice here.

Look for Alter Bridge continuing their U.S. tour into October, before taking a brief break and then heading off to Europe in November. Their current schedule can be found here.
