As the anticipation builds for the Aug. 6 release of their third album 'From Death to Destiny,' Asking Alexandria have just released the music video for the album's current single 'The Death of Me.'

The clip was directed by Frankie Nasso (Escape the Fate, Emmure) and features performance footage of Asking Alexandria. The plot revolves around a boy facing temptation from scantily clad women behind the glass.

The video opens with a quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson that says 'The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.' It's a nice blend of philosophy and morality with sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll.

Asking Alexandria play a July 27 show in Syracuse before embarking on a short U.S. tour alongside Motionless in White, Upon a Burning Body and Crown the Empire, which begins Aug. 6 in Fargo, N.D.

After wrapping up the U.S. leg of the tour, they'll head to South America and play in countries including Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Mexico. Then in December they'll embark on a UK tour with Bullet for My Valentine.

The band also recently performed on 'Guitar Center Sessions' on DirecTV's Audience Network. The show combines a sit-down interview with live performances.
