It’s no surprise that the title of Helloween’s new album is ‘Straight Out of Hell,’ especially judging from the band's show at New York’s Stage 48 earlier this week (Sept. 24) along with Cold Steel.

Fresh off Mayhem Festival and GWAR B-Q the band is touring in support of their latest disc ‘War of Will’ with Hatebreed, Shadows Fall and the Acacia Strain. In mid-October they will be on the road with Death Angel, 3 Inches of Blood and Revocation.

While the band was celebrating 13 years of their first major label debut ‘Gift’ with a gig in New York City, we got to speak with frontman Stephen Richards, who recollected the earlier days of Taproot.
