One of the key things in enjoying any major rock festival is making sure you know exactly where and when your favorite acts are playing. So it's a good idea to pay attention when festivals announce their daily lineups and set times. Necks will be snapped and the pit will be packed for the annual 'This Is Hardcore Fest.' This year's four-day extravaganza will be held at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia from July 24-27.
There are already quite a few rock festivals scheduled for the spring and early summer, but the Operation Rock Festival is the one that stands out for its commitment to the military men and women who serve our country. The event, which features headliners Pop Evil and Nonpoint, will take place June 21 in Fredericksburg, Va.
You'll want to start booking travel for Wisconsin this summer. That's because the lineup for this year's Rock USA festival has been unveiled and it definitely rocks. The event, which will be held July 16-19 at Ford Festival Park in Oshkosh, Wis., features such big name acts as Korn, Slayer, Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch and more.
Slipknot are bringing back their Knotfest music event in 2014, but taking a page out of Ozzfest's book, Slipknot will be staging the fest in Japan. Slipknot were actually part of last year's one-off Ozzfest performance in Japan and will now deliver their very own festival to the country on Nov. 15 and 16.
