Get ready ‘Sons of Anarchy’ fans, Courtney Love is officially headed to Charming, Calif. Just like fellow rocker Marilyn Manson, the Hole frontwoman will join the cast of the seventh and final season of the hit drama centered around life in an outlaw motorcycle gang, marking her television debut in a dramatic role.

In what is being reported as a multi-episode gig, Love will play a character named Ms. Harrison, the preschool teacher of lead character Jax’s son Abel. According to TVLine.com, Love’s character will take a special interest in the boy, and anticipated fireworks ensue, potentially with Abel’s biological mother Wendy.

Love’s character will make her first appearance in Episode 4 of the upcoming final season, set to kick off this fall in September on FX.

As mentioned, Love is just the latest rocker to be recruited by the show, too. In addition to Love, Sons of Anarchy execs recently revealed that shock-rocker Marilyn Manson will be part of the upcoming season too, portraying an imprisoned white supremacist who has some shady interactions with Jax. Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro also participated in the show during Seasons 5 and 6, playing a gang member.

As for Love, the rocker has already showed off her acting chops in the past in movies like ‘The People vs. Larry Flint’ and ‘Man on the Moon.' She has proven that she has the skills to pull off provocative roles so the transition to TV  and 'Sons of Anarchy' should not be much of a stretch for the versatile artist.
