New Orleans sludgemeisters Down will return to the road for the "Eastbound 'N Down" tour, which kicks off August 6 in Louisville, Ky. The trek includes an Aug. 15 stop in Richmond, Va., for this year's GWAR-B-Q.

Down are also slated to play Amnesia Rockfest in June alongside a star-studded lineup that includes bands such as System of a Down, Linkin Park, Rob Zombie, Slayer and many others.

In other Philip Anselmo news, the owner of Housecore Records recently helped out King Parrot, who happen to be on his label. Anselmo makes an appearance in the video for the song "Like A Rat." He also produced the Australian band's upcoming album Dead Set, which is due to be released May 19.

Anselmo also has collaborated with actor / musician Bill Moseley on a four-song mini CD called Phil and Bill: Songs of Death and Despair. Moseley has appeared in numerous movies over the years including House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, Grindhouse and Texas Chainsaw 3D.
