Drowning Pool, Saving Abel, Skillet and others will preform during first annual Heroes Music Festival taking place Sept. 8–11 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Ga. The four-day music gathering will honor the 10-year anniversary of the 9/11 events in 2001.

Billed as 'Rock & Remembrance,' the festival will boast recording artists in both the rock and country genres. Drowning Pool, Saving Abel and Skillet will perform on the Sept. 10 bill, which will also feature Days of the New, Sponge and Kill Devil Hill.

"We are pleased in the outpour of artists who are not only willing to share their talents, but understand the importance of the message and significance of Heroes Music Festival overall," says Charles DeJournett, the founder of Heroes Music Festival. "This will be a memorable affair for all Americans and music enthusiasts from every corner of the country."
