It's time to get familiar with Everlit. The upstart rockers have begun earning spins for their new single "Break Away" and they've just teamed with Loudwire to bring you the exclusive premiere of their video for the track (watch above).

Bassist Jordan Panfil tells Loudwire, “'Break Away' is a song that means a lot to all of us as individual members but it's also for everyone else out there. Everyone has a friend that pulls them down or maybe it's yourself, an addiction to drugs, sex, gambling, whatever. Regardless of the demon, the struggle to get away from those things is very hard for all of us. This song's about confronting those demons and breaking away from them."

The rocking track finds Panfil flanked by vocalist Ryan Panfil, drummer Jacob Castro and guitarist Anthony Michael, and the group's performance plays a large part in the video.

The bassist adds of the Mitch Martinez-directed clip, "Shooting the video was a blast. We shot it at two different locations; one in Norristown and the other in North East Philly. Working with Mitch Martinez was a great experience for all us. He's an awesome video producer and he was the one who put the whole storyline together. He gave us the outline and when we got to the end, we were all sold right away. It turned out just like we wanted. We couldn't be happier -- it’s a great way for us get started making people aware of our new EP Renovate."

Speaking of that EP, the Renovate disc arrives on June 23 and will be available on iTunes and Google Play. For the time being, you can find the song "Break Away" available at both iTunes and GooglePlay. And look for Everlit kicking things off right with a Renovate EP release show at the Bull Shooters Saloon in Philadelphia on June 20.
