If you ever needed proof of Halestorm's love of the stage, then take note that while the band had some time off, singer Lzzy Hale and guitarist Joe Hottinger found themselves performing some cover songs at Thee Rock 'n' Roll Residency at the Harp & Fiddle in Nashville.

For those who've followed Halestorm over the years, you're aware that the band does love their cover songs, having recorded covers EPs between studio albums. So Hale and Hottinger were more than ready to step up when called upon to perform covers of Led Zeppelin's "Black Dog" (seen above) and Aerosmith's "Draw the Line" (viewed below).

In the fan-shot video of Aerosmith's "Drawn the Line," Hale speaks about the decision to relocate to Nashville a few years back and the warm welcome they've received from the rock community in town. The band recorded their most recent album, Into the Wild Life, in Nashville with producer Jay Joyce.

Back in June, Hale and her brother Arejay revealed that the band had started writing for their follow-up to Into the Wild Life and were also about to go into the studio to do another covers EP. Never too far from the stage, the band also has a pretty full tour schedule through October. See their remaining dates here.
