With the release date of his debut album ‘Memories of a Beautiful Disaster’ creeping up (Nov. 21), James Durbin and his monstrous vocal chops have been making the rounds. On a recent trip to Fox News, American Idol’s Season 10 metal castaway performed a beautiful acoustic rendition of his latest single, ‘Love Me Bad.’

For those rockers who took a pass on tuning into the latest season of American Idol, Durbin shared the stage with legends like Judas Priest and guitar great Zakk Wylde, keeping rock alive throughout his time on the show.

His debut album includes appearances by Motley Crue guitarist Mick Mars as well as songwriting  collaborations with James Michael and Marti Frederiksen, two of the best in the business.

Watch Durbin show off his softer side in the acoustic version of ‘Love Me Bad’ below, and tune into Loudwire next week for our own exclusive live videos with James Durbin!
