Rock ‘n’ roll boys Buckcherry are back, and they’re hitting the road this spring on a headlining jaunt with support from 'American Idol' guy James Durbin and fellow hard rockers Redlight King. The tour kicks off April 21 in San Antonio, Texas.
American Idol rocker James Durbin and guitarist Orianthi recently teamed up to lend their talents to a great cause. On March 2 at Center Staging in Burbank, Calif. the two performed at a benefit for the Rock School Scholarship Fund. Rock School Scholarship Fund is a non-profit group that funds music lessons and provides instruments for kids 7-17 who want to attend any rock school nationwide, but whose parents don’t have the financial means.
James Durbin, the former 'American Idol' contestant and resident rocker, has been confirmed as the spokesperson for the be a STAR Alliance, which is an anti-bullying initiative that was founded by the Creative Coalition and the WWE. Over 50 national organizations are a part of the alliance. Stamping out the pervasive bullying epidemic is of particular personal significance to Durbin, who was bullied since he suffered from a combination of Asperger's Syndrome and Tourette's syndrome.
