Gigantour, the mega-metal tour featuring Megadeth, Motorhead, Lacuna Coil and Volbeat, kicked off last night in Camden, N.J., and it certainly seemed to live up to its name.

One highlight of the evening was when Lacuna Coil’s leading lady Cristina Scabbia joined Megadeth onstage to perform ‘A Toute le Monde’ live. ‘A Toute le Monde’ originally debuted on Megadeth’s 1994 release ‘Youthanasia,’ but was reincarnated in 2007 with a re-arrangement called ‘A Tout le Monde (Set Me Free)' featuring Scabbia.

At the time, Scabbia said she was both surprised and honored to get the invite from Megadeth because she was always a big fan of the song. She was also pleased with the results, saying the new version had a stronger attitude.

Megadeth played a 13 song set that included everything from the classics like ‘Sweating Bullets’ and ‘Symphony of Destruction’ to ‘Public Enemy No. 1’ from their new album ‘TH1RT3EN.’

Lacuna Coil’s latest release, ‘Dark Adrenaline,’ made its debut recently, read our review here.

Gigantour continues to ravish its way across the U.S. and Canada before it wraps up in Denver, Colo., on Feb. 28. Check out all the dates here.
