Linkin Park may be off the road at present, but the band has just served up a reminder of how captivating their live shows can be. The group just posted their performance from the 2012 Spike Video Game Awards, where they played their latest single ‘Castle of Glass’ (watch above).
The choice of song was fitting, given the ‘Castle of Glass’ was tied to the promotion of the ‘Medal of Honor: Warfighter’ game. Prior to the official video of the song debuting, the band offered it as an unlockable feature for those taking part in a ‘Medal of Honor: Warfighter’ beta test.
The Spike Video Game Awards was one of the band’s final 2012 appearances, taking place in early December in Culver City, California.
Meanwhile, in other Linkin Park news, the group recently continued their charitable ways by offering up one-of-a-kind bracelets with the proceeds going to benefit the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
The bracelet features a black adjustable band with two interlocking circles engraved with ‘Music for Relief,’ the name of the group’s charitable organization. One hundred percent of all the proceeds will aid Music for Relief’s superstorm Sandy recovery effort in the U.S. and in Haiti with the partner organization International Medical Corps.
