Linkin Park unleashed a pleasant surprise on fans today with their new single 'Guilty All the Same' off their upcoming as-yet-untitled album. The song (listen below) features a guest spot from rapper Rakim.

The tune, which finds the band featuring more of a guitar-driven rock sound, is an aggressive 6-minute track that features Chester Bennington handling primary vocals throughout except for the hip-hop verses from Rakim that appear toward the end.

"The reason we went with this single first is that we think it’s a good look into the DNA of the record that we’re putting out this summer," Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda tells Radio.com of the song.

In other news, Linkin Park just announced a co-headlining summer tour with Thirty Seconds to Mars. Dates for the trek, which also features AFI, can be found by clicking the button below the audio player.
