Linkin Park stopped Staind's Classic Cage Match win streak at one as 'In the End' took out 'It's Been Awhile' in a pairing of 2001 standouts. The early Linkin Park sound is perhaps best displayed on 'In the End,' which really showcased the flow of co-vocalist Mike Shinoda and the powerful belting of co-vocalist Chester Bennington. The track remains a classic to this day and a standout in Linkin Park's catalog, but does it have what it takes to earn another Classic Cage Match victory?

They enter the Classic Cage Match against another monster act from 2001 -- System of a Down. The group had enjoyed some success prior to their 'Toxicity' album, but once 'Chop Suey' hit the airwaves, things truly took off for the band. The combination of Serj Tankian's tongue-twisty, rapid-fire delivery and the group's frenetic style definitely struck a chord with listeners and remains one of the group's most requested songs.

This one's going to be tough. Do you go with the more melodic Linkin Park track 'In the End' or System of a Down's in-your-face aggression on 'Chop Suey'? Listen to both tracks in the players provided and then vote on which track you want to advance in the poll below.
