Machine Gun Kelly is making a name for himself in both the hip-hop scene and the rock scene. The Cleveland-based rhyme-slinger is influenced by a wide range of music and that can be seen in this exclusive video of MGK performing his own take on Rise Against's 'Swing Life Away' with an assist from Sleeping With Sirens singer Kellin Quinn (watch above).

The song appears on MGK's latest mixtape, 'Black Flag' (available here), and this performance offers a unique spin on the Rise Against single, with MGK serving up his own verses alongside Quinn's high-pitched delivery of the original tune's chorus.

MGK, who won the 2013 Woodie of the Year honor at the mtvU Woodie Awards, just put on the EST Fest in Cleveland, which showcased local musicians. After touring extensively this past summer, he has a handful of dates coming up, including a spot on Korn's Family Values festival in Colorado. Check out his current itinerary here.

You can learn more about MGK at his official website, but first check out his performance of 'Swing Life Away' (featuring Kellin Quinn) in the video above.
