Atlanta's Shaky Knees Festival will get a hard rock infusion for its third annual music gathering. Hometown metal heroes Mastodon will be joined by SoCal rock vets Social Distortion and Maryland's own Clutch in leading the rock contingency.

The event, taking place at Atlanta's Central Park May 8-10, also features Flogging Molly, Death From Above 1979, The Bronx and Frank Turner & the Sleeping Souls.

The Strokes, the Avett Brothers and Wilco top the festival bill, with Pixies, Ryan Adams, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Brand New, Neutral Milk Hotel, Old Crow Medicine Show, TV on the Radio, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Interpol and Tame Impala also locked in to play.

A limited number of advance three-day passes will go on sale this Friday (Jan. 16) at 10AM ET. For all ticketing and lodging info, as well as the full lineup, check out the Shaky Knees Festival website at this location.
