One of the saddest and most bizarre deaths of 2011 was that of Sole Remedy guitarist, Mikko Laine. Laine was reportedly sleeping backstage next to a fence after playing the ProgPower Festival in Holland, when a truck filled with stage equipment backed over the guitarist, ending his life. Laine was only 30 years old at the time of his death. Sole Remedy posted a tribute to Laine on their website, Mikko was a vibrant, happy and funny person with lots to offer to the world.
