Ozzy Osbourne has seen it all, lived it all and somehow survived it all. Osbourne's long running love affair with heavy rock music dates back to the late '60s, a period in which he first played with Geezer Butler in the short-lived Rare Breed. Butler and Osbourne would join with Tony Iommi and Bill Ward in the oddly named Polka Tulk Blues before eventually gravitating toward a harder sound and new moniker in Black Sabbath.

Black Sabbath would become the kings of heavy metal before Osbourne split for a solo career. Now, here in the 21st century, Osbourne has balanced both solo work and his return to Sabbath, thus living up to the 'Iron Man' moniker he sung about so many years ago.
