The 2014 ShipRocked cruise welcomed aboard many first time bands, including powerhouse rockers Papa Roach. Admittedly a little nervous about taking to the high seas, frontman Jacoby Shaddix quickly found his sea legs and the band delivered two of the most memorable sets on the cruise.

Good news for P-Roach fans too. As soon as ShipRocked hit land, Papa Roach promised to hit the ground running to continue work on their forthcoming disc. Following up 2012's ‘The Connection,’ their next offering will mark their eighth studio release throughout their expansive career.

When we sat down to chat with Shaddix and bassist Tobin Esperance on board the beautiful Norwegian Pearl, the two foreshadowed what fans can expect when it comes to the direction of their upcoming album, along with Esperance's creative working song titles and the group's overall ShipRocked experience.

Watch Part 1 of our exclusive interview with Papa Roach above and stay tuned for Part 2 coming soon!
