Pop Evil has announced a U.S. headlining tour for 2019. The 24-date outing kicks off on Jan. 16 in Lincoln, Neb. and wraps one month later in Madison, Wis. Supporting the Michigan rockers on select dates of the tour are former VH1 That Metal Show host and comedian Don Jamieson, as well as Them Evils and Savage After Midnight.

Frontman Leigh Kakaty says, “We are excited to blend rock and comedy for this unique touring experience.”  He adds, “We are big fans of Don, he will bring a lot of energy to the stage each night. We think this is going to be one of the most memorable tours to date with Don Jamieson, Them Evils and Savage After Midnight."

The group is holding a contest to give local bands a chance to win a slot on the bill. Bands are encouraged to submit an original cover of Pop Evil’s song “Be Legendary” to enter the chance to open the show. The contest will begin next month and will be announced on Pop Evil’s social medial pages.

Kakaty says he's excited about working with local bands, stating, “Another great part of this tour is the opportunity for local bands to win our contest to be the opening band each night. Can’t wait to see everyone in 2019. “

Tickets for the outing go on sale on Friday, Oct. 19. VIP packages and a Bandsintown pre-sale begins here on Wednesday, Oct. 17

The U.S. dates come on the heels of Pop Evil's Canadian tour announcement. They are currently out on the road and take the stage at the Daytona Beach Bikefest in Daytona Beach, Fla. on Oct. 18. See all their tour dates here.
