Update: The rest of the band went on to play the show without Scantlin. Refunds were made available for the show. For additional information, check the Bronson Rock social media.

Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin has had another run-in with the law, this time getting hung up at LAX as he was attempting to board a plane. According to TMZ, Scantlin was busted for having a BB gun as he was trying to get on the plane.

As such, the musician was arrested and booked for the offense, with a bail set at $850,000. TMZ reports that there were other charges as well, but the gun offense is what sparked the arrest. The singer was on his way to Keller, Texas, where the band was set to play a show.

The singer has had a string of troubles with the law in recent years, as well as concerts affected by Scantlin's erratic behavior. In the midst of all these woes, there have been a number of incidents surrounding flights, including a 2012 altercation with a Jet Blue attendant, a canceled show from a missed flight and the singer's famous arrest for his joyride on a baggage carousel at a Denver airport in 2015.

Puddle of Mudd will continue their touring, hopefully with Scantlin in place, as their next show is slated for Sept. 15 in Roanoke, Va. The group has shows booked into late December. See all of their scheduled dates here.
