Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme is a father for a second time. Homme and his wife, current Spinnerette/ex-Distillers rocker Brody Dalle, announced over the weekend via Twitter the birth of a son named Orrin Ryder Homme.

“We got us a very handsome redheaded baby boy Orrin Ryder Homme, born on Friday the 12th of August, 7 lbs 12oz ,” reads the post on Dalle’s Twitter feed. “Weez totes IN-LOVE.” (Translation: they love him!)

Evidently, Dalle's announcement wasn't a surprise for everybody, but was still met with a slew of congratulations from fellow Twitter users. "But somehow you already knew this?" she wrote in a follow-up post. "Thank you for all the lovely wishes and such xxx."

Orrin Ryder is the second little one for the rock couple. Their first child, a 5-year-old daughter named Camille Harley Joan Homme, was born on Jan. 17, 2006. The pair married in 2007.

Homme recently made a guest appearance on the Travel Channel show, 'No Reservations,' during an episode shot in the High Desert region of Southern California that features original music from Homme with members of QOSTA and his Eagles of Death Metal project. Check out a trailer for the show here.
