Rob Halford, Chester Bennington + More Join Comedians for Comedy Central’s ‘The Comedy Jam’
All the world's a stage, but whether its music or comedy, there's a lot of fun to be had. Keeping that in mind, prepare yourself for Comedy Central's new series, The Comedy Jam, which premieres March 22 at 10PM ET.
Each episode will feature comedians in acts designed to entertain and shock unsuspecting audiences as they perform iconic rock and pop songs, sometimes with the help of well-known musicians. Among the rockers set to guest during the run of the series are Judas Priest's Rob Halford, Linkin Park's Chester Bennington, Sebastian Bach, Def Leppard's Phil Collen and Art of Anarchy's Scott Stapp and Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal.
The premiere episode on March 22 finds Tiffany Haddish performing Tina Turner's "Proud Mary," Chris Hardwick teaming up with Richie Sambora on Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive" and MadTV alum Bobby Lee doing Rod Stewart's "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy."
Other set to appear in the weeks to come include Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Awkwafina, Sam Richardson, Tia Carrere, Colton Dunn, Sarah Tiana, Fortune Feimster, Big Jay Oakerson, Mark Duplass, Jim Breuer, Bert Kreischer, Taryn Manning, Hal Sparks, Malin Akerman, Matteo Lane, Jay Pharoah, Hasan Minhaj, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Roy Wood Jr., James Davis, Busy Phillips, Jon Rudnitsky and more. And in addition, musicians Natalie Maines, Lukas Rossi, Kevin Cronin, DMX, Montell Jordan and Kenny Loggins will also be a part of the series.
