Rob Zombie previously announced that his 'Great American Nightmare' Halloween horror attraction will take place in Scottsdale, Ariz., in 2014, but that's not the only location. The rocker/director has just revealed that he'll also bring his 'Nightmare' to the Midwest, setting up shop at the Odeum Expo in Villa Park, Illinois, near Chicago.

"I am thrilled to be able to expand the Great American Nightmare to TWO new cities this year," says Zombie. "My only goal is to make it twice as sick as last year."

As with the Arizona location, the primary attractions at the Illinois fest will be the three haunted houses that are based on Rob Zombie's films.

'The Lords of Salem in Total Black Out' is a mind-twister that's sure to play upon those with a fear of the dark and claustrophobia as the visitor attempts to traverse the sixty-degree maze.

'The Haunted World of El Superbeasto 3D' allows the visitor to use Chromadepth glasses that will enhance the visual experience with brilliant colors, sudden chills and startling thrills along with the salacious humor that made the film such a riot.

And there's also the 'Haunt of 1,000 Corpses,' which is an extreme yet traditional haunted house that takes the visitor through a recreation of the film's 'Museum of Monsters & Madmen' along with an expanded 'Murder Ride.'

'Great American Nightmare' producer Steve Kopelman adds, "Chicago is a haunted house hotbed with the Odeum Expo Center being the go-to haunted house venue for the past two decades. We really feel the Midwest will welcome this event with open arms and this will be the ultimate Chicagoland Halloween event."

'Rob Zombie's Great American Nightmare' will run from Sept. 26-Nov. 1 at the Odeum Expo in Villa Park, Ill. and Zombie himself will open this year's festivities with a concert. There will also be an assortment of other attractions besides the haunted houses, including the 'Bloody Boulevard' thoroughfare.

Tickets for the Chicago-area event will go on sale July 30 at 10AM CT at this location. Tickets start at only $25 for all dates from Sept. 27-Nov. 1. The Sept. 26 opening, which features the Zombie concert, has tickets starting at only $45. For all ticketing, including VIP packages, check the 'Great American Nightmare' website.

For those planning to make the trip, Zombie will stage the 'Great American Nightmare' at the Villa Park location on the following dates: Sept. 26-27, Oct. 3-4, 10-12, 16-19, 23-26 and Oct. 30-Nov. 1. For details on the Scottsdale, Ariz., festival, click here.
