Sevendust Play ‘Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?’

You’ve been asking for a Sevendust episode of ‘Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?’ so who are we to argue?! Vocalist Lajon Witherspoon and guitarist Clint Lowery sat down with us to prove and disprove what’s written about them on Wikipedia.

This is easily one of our favorite Wiki segments to date. Lajon and Clint couldn’t be cooler guys and they’ve got plenty of great stories to tell. Before Sevendust existed as you know it, the band struggled with a bunch of other names. They even got threatened with legal action for using the name Crawlspace, but not for the amount of money reported by Wikipedia.

Lajon opens up about the tragic death of his younger brother in this video, memorializing him while correcting some circumstances revolving around Sevendust’s apparent hiatus due to his passing.

On a somewhat lighter note, Clint Lowery speaks about his 2007 arrest in Slovakia. While he was a touring member for Korn in 2007, Lowery was arrested for trashing a hotel room during a drunken night. You may chalk this up to classic rock antics, but Wikipedia has absolutely nothing on what actually happened in Slovakian jail. Lowery tells one of the greatest stories to ever be a part of a ‘Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?’ episode with this one. To sum it up, it involves a brutal beating, pooping his pants and facing those same police the next night while performing with Korn.

This is a must-watch segment, so enjoy the Sevendust edition of ‘Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?’ in the video above!
