Shadows Fall have revealed a handful of warm up shows in the Northeast, before their trek to Australia for the massive Soundwave Festival.

The band has been working on their new album with prominent metal producer and Killswitch Engage axeman Adam Dutkiewicz. The new release is reportedly in the finishing stages and set to be released via their new label Razor & Tie Records sometime in March 2012. The untitled disc will be their seventh studio album and a follow up to 2009’s ‘Retribution.'

Frontman Brian Fair commented about the upcoming album, stating, “We cover a ton of ground on this new album — encompassing everything we have done musically over our career and incorporating new ideas into the mix.”

The first warm up show heats up on Feb. 16 in Rochester, N.Y. and cools down on Feb. 19 in Turner Falls, Mass. With any luck, fans will be be treated to some of the new tracks during the warm up shows, so there's some added incentive to catch one if you can. Check out all of the "warm-up" dates below.
