Shinedown have released a lyric video for the song ‘Bully,’ the first single off the band’s recently announced upcoming album ‘Amaryllis,' which is due out March 27.

Frontman Brent Smith says that the new disc ‘Amaryllis’ is all about “empowerment, perseverance and inspiration” and the new single does indeed send a message of strength.

The song is a powerful anthem that addresses bullies with a chorus that belts out the lyrics, “All you’ll ever be is a fading memory of a bully / Make another joke / While they hang another rope / So lonely / Push them to the dirt / Till the words don’t hurt / Can you hear me / No one’s gonna cry / On the day you die / You’re a bully.

‘Amaryllis’ is Shinedown’s first album in three years since ‘The Sound of Madness.’ The band got together once again with producer Rob Cavallo, who also produced their 2008 release. ‘Bully’ just might be another radio hit to add onto Shinedown’s numerous successful singles.
