After yesterday's statement from Motorhead about having to cut short their Wacken set due to Lemmy Kilmister's health, none other than Slash has given us an update from Motorhead's camp.

Now joining a weekend tweet from Motorhead guitarist Phil Campbell which reassured fans that the legendary frontman is okay, Slash has now publicly stated that Lemmy is "doing well" and that he is "in good shape."

Slash is branching out, having composed the soundtrack for the upcoming movie ‘Nothing Left to Fear,’ which he produced through his production company, Slasher Films. Along with the film score, Slash also wrote two original songs, including one that features vocals from bandmate Myles Kennedy.

Slash, Myles and company don't have any tours currently scheduled, but Slash stated recently that he is spending his nights writing new material. He will be playing a special show in Arizona to benefit the families of the 19 firefighters killed while battling a wildfire in June. Rock N’ 2 Remember will be held Aug. 25 in Prescott, Ariz.
