Slipknot / Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor recently kicked off his solo tour in support of his book ‘Deadly Sins — Settling the Argument Between Born Bad and Damaged Good.’

The show is a truly interactive experience and rare chance for fans to see Taylor in intimates venues. The night includes Taylor takes questions from the audience, excerpts from his book, and acoustic performances of both original tunes and some choice covers.

Ah yes, the covers! We all know Taylor knows how to throw fans for a loop. Just this summer he rocked out the Spongebob Squarepants theme song for a charity event, and now, he’s taking on Jersey’s hottest commodity with his own rendition of Bon Jovi’s ‘Wanted Dead or Alive.’

The video below shows Taylor taking on the iconic rock tune at his recent show in Anaheim, Calif., on Nov. 14. He started it off setting the mood for the crowd and getting them to join in on percussion. Ever the rock star, he then demands that they get their lighters in the air, schooling them when they join in on the chorus a little too early. Later on in the song, Taylor himself misses a few words and everyone has a good laugh.
