Feel that? There's some definitely seismic activity coming from the Lone Star state and it's generated by Sons of Texas. The band is teaming with Loudwire to exclusively bring you the premiere of their new song 'Never Bury the Hatchet' (listen above).

The song starts bubbling under with heavy guitar, building in intensity until frontman Mark Morales lets out a primal scream to kick 'Never Bury the Hatchet' into gear. It's a brutal song, featuring some nifty riffing from Jon Olivares and Jes De Hoyos, some double-kick heaviness from drummer Mike Villarreal and killer low end from bassist Nick Villarreal.

"This here is our anthem of angst! For those who've been pushed down, stepped on, marginalized and relegated ... we give you 'Never Bury the Hatchet,'" says De Hoyos about the track.

These Sons of Texas hail from McAllen, Texas, and are definitely Texas proud. “We’re proud of being a Texas hard rock band, that’s everything to us,” affirms rhythm guitarist Jon Olivarez. “Texas is the biggest state, has a great history of football teams, and an astounding music legacy.”

'Never Bury the Hatchet' is one of the standout tracks on the Josh Wilbur-produced 'Baptized in the Rio Grande' album and follows in the footsteps of the previously released title track. The disc is due in stores March 3 via Razor & Tie. It's currently available for pre-order at Amazon and iTunes, and fans of the band can also pick up the disc in a variety of bundle options at the band's merch page.
