‘New Horizons’ is the third studio album from Flyleaf, and the final one for vocalist Lacey Sturm. Just a few days before the album’s release, it was announced Sturm would be leaving the band and would be replaced by Kristen May.

Big news out of the Flyleaf camp today, as longtime lead singer Lacey Sturm has announced her departure from the band. The news comes right before the group’s final album with Sturm, ‘New Horizons,’ will arrive in stores and online on Oct. 30 via A&M/Octone Records.

Flyleaf are gearing up to release their third studio album, ‘New Horizons.’ The Texas-based outfit first got together in 2000, and their sincere music has taken the rock world by storm since releasing their debut album in 2005. On the new disc, expect a well-rounded collection of hard-edged songs about rebirth and renewal.
