HIM fans received bad news over the weekend as the band canceled their North American tour due to frontman Ville Valo's current troubles with severe asthma and presumptive pneumonia. However, HIM fans with watery eyes can now focus on a nice pick-me-up in the form of the band's new music video for 'All Lips Go Blue.'

North America will be in a short supply of love metal over the next few weeks. That's because Finnish rockers HIM have bowed out of their North American trek due to illness, as frontman Ville Valo has been ordered to rest.

The lineup for this year's Rock Allegiance tour has been announced and it features Volbeat, HIM, All That Remains and Airbourne.

Love metal fans have much to rejoice about since 2013 is shaping up to be a massive year for Finnish band HIM with the release of their eighth studio album ‘Tears on Tape’ via their new North American label Razor & Tie. Not to mention HIM was just inducted into Loudwire's Cage Match Hall of Fame after beating out some notable acts along the way.

Love metalers HIM and their army of fans have a lot to smile about, as the band's new track ‘Tears on Tape’ beat out some major opponents for five consecutive wins and thereby enters Loudwire’s Cage Match Hall of Fame.

The love metalers do it again as HIM and their fans get another Cage Match win with ‘Tears on Tape’ as the band beat out Three Days Grace in the previous battle. Now, HIM go for their fifth and final victory and entrance into the Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame,  but will they be able to do it once more against a very tough competitor?

HIM continue on in the Cage Match, as their track ‘Tears on Tape’ beat out 30 Seconds to Mars in the last round, but can they do it again as they face their latest competition?

Although HIM’s new disc ‘Tears On Tape’ won’t officially be available until April 30, the band is offering previews of each new song all this week, starting today (April 22).
