Canadian rockers Art of Dying christened their maiden voyage on 2014's ShipRocked cruise with a few bucket list moments, including a sweaty set on the private beach of Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas.
No one can ever accuse Mark Tremonti of being an underachiever, as the guitarist has always had a full plate juggling two successful bands in Alter Bridge and Creed. However, back in 2012, he took things to a whole new level releasing the debut album ‘All I Was,’ from his self titled project, Tremonti, which saw him adding the role of frontman to his resume.
ShipRocked veterans Sevendust were rock royalty on this year's cruise, but you wouldn’t know it as all of the members walked around and graciously greeted their fans. On this year's ShipRocked cruise, which we were fortunate enough to attend, the band performed two very unforgettable and different sets -- an acoustic set in the Stardust Theater (which turned into the Sevendust Theater that night)
The 2014 ShipRocked cruise welcomed aboard many first time bands, including powerhouse rockers Papa Roach. Admittedly a little nervous about taking to the high seas, frontman Jacoby Shaddix quickly found his sea legs and the band delivered two of the most memorable sets on the cruise.
Fans who were on this year’s ShipRocked cruise are still having dreams of the sunny weather and multiple stages of music. As fans met and chatted with numerous musicians who walked all over the ship, lots of people talked about how approachable and pleasant Nonpoint frontman Elias Soriano and the rest of band were to their fans. When Loudwire sat down with Soriano, we couldn't help but agree.

As the last day of ShipRocked got under way and the Norwegian Pearl began its descent back to Miami, it was time to make the most of what was left of our festival on the ocean and reflect back on what could best be described as a once-in-a-lifetime experience for any rock fan.
As Day 3 of ShipRocked dawned, it would serve as the last day of invading the beautiful, private Bahamian island so rockers were up early to take full advantage of the exotic surroundings one last time. The music didn’t kick off until early afternoon allowing fans to catch up on some much needed sleep, work on their tans and re-energize for another day of non-stop rock 'n' roll revelry.
Hangovers be damned, ShipRocked Day 2 kicked off on the private island of Great Stirrup Cay in the beautiful Bahamas. Rockers that rolled out of bed early enough were in for something special as Art of Dying officially kicked things off on the beach stage. As if Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach, Three Days Grace and several other top rock and metal acts weren’t enough, Tremonti and Black Stone Cherry have been added to the bill of this year’s ShipRocked cruise.
ShipRocked 2014 have added a few late additions to the lineup for their upcoming cruise and organizers have announced that all of the cabins for this year's voyage have sold out.
