Sixx: A.M. recently surprised fans with word that a new EP was in the works. However, this isn’t just any EP, it's a collection of previously recorded songs, that are stripped down, dissected and built back up again by the band, giving a totally new spin on old favorites.

Super trio Sixx: A.M. includes Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx, DJ Ashba of Guns N’Roses and frontman James Michael, and the guys have released two studio albums together: ‘The Heroin Diaries’ and ‘This Is Gonna Hurt.’ On Dec. 13, the group is releasing a new collection of tracks, which aim to put a new spin on previously released songs.

Motley Crue and Sixx: AM bassist Nikki Sixx has been putting pen to paper once again to create two new books. Having already published the scathing memoir 'The Heroin Diaries,' and 'This Is Gonna Hurt' (a collection of photography and insight), Sixx's next book may see a release date as soon as May 2012.
